Pilling Jubilee Silver Band

Skydive!

Today, four members of Pilling Band took place in a sponsored skydive with the Black Knights at Cockerham. All four really enjoyed the jump and all said they would like to do it again!

Quite a number of the band went along to the airfield to spectate and give their support. Fortunately, there was no rendition of the 'Last Post'!

After the jump, we all disappeared for an ice cream at Wallings before going to a barbecue at the bandroom to celebrate.

An estimated £2000 was raised for band funds.
